“Capaldi concert has boosted Malta’s tourism product ”– MTA

Yesterday evening, Lewis Capaldi performed live at the Granaries in Floriana with more than 15,000 people, Maltese and tourists, in attendance. The world-renowned English artist managed to create a wonderful atmosphere despite the heat, and spectators sang and danced to the melodic rhythm of Capaldi’s contemporary songs

‘Lewis Capaldi in Concert’ was the first unrestricted mass activity post pandemic to be carried out in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, MTA. The attendance showed that such events are sorely in demand.

The Malta Tourism Authority, said that this concert helped to give a boost to a summer full of activities and also, a boost to the Maltese tourism product. This concert paved the way for a series of concerts and other mass activities scheduled for this summer.

The young British singer exploded onto the pop music scene less than two years ago and managed to win the Brit Award for song of the year in 2020 with his single ‘Someone You Loved’ . In fact, it was the song that concluded the hour and a half concert, which according to Capaldi won’t be the his last one in Malta.
