Cirque Du Soleil Returns With A New Production Created Just For Malta

Cirque Du Soleil is coming back to Malta, bringing back a new production created exclusively for the Maltese islands – AMORA.

This year comes after two consecutive successful shows, 2019’s VITORI and 2021’s FIERI, which have entertained more than 50,000 spectators.

AMORA will see the historic travelling troupe present a new show at Valletta’s Mediterranean Conference Centre from 24th November to 18th December, brought to you by 356 Entertainment Group.

“A celebration of the magnetic force of love”, AMORA tells the love story of Bruno and Loulou – but “at the same time, is a love letter to the beauty and richness of Malta, and to the circus arts”.

“Bruno’s obsession to find Loulou grows as the story unfolds,” the plot explains. “He sets out on a quest to find her, meeting colourful new friends with extraordinary powers along the way.”

“These characters will teach Bruno how to defy gravity and reach the sky to unite with the woman he loves.”

For the third year, Cirque du Soleil is honoured and thrilled to present a brand-new creation for locals and tourists alike.

“Cirque du Soleil has become a yearly awaited event in Malta’s cultural calendar. From signature style acrobatics to visual artistry, both foreign and domestic tourists will have the opportunity to see high-level artists produce a memorable spectacle for another year,” remarks Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo.

€25 tickets for the 75-minute show are up for sale now here.
